【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 중구가 청년들의 창의적이고 자발적인 모임 활성화를 위해 ‘2026년 청년 커뮤니티 활동 지원 사업’ 공모에 나섰다.
구에 따르면 이번 공모는 4인 이상 청년 동아리를 대상으로 하며, 오는 4월 10일 오후 6시까지 신청서를 받는다. 총 6개 팀이 선정되며, 선정된 동아리에는 팀당 100만 원의 활동비가 지원된다.
이번 사업은 청년들의 비용 부담을 덜고, 지속 가능한 커뮤니티 조성을 목적으로 기획됐다. 문화예술을 비롯해 봉사, 자기개발, 토론, 취·창업 준비 등 다양한 분야의 동아리 활동이 지원 대상이다.
지원 대상은 중구에서 활동하는 4인 이상 동아리로, 팀원 중 중구에 거주하거나 지역 내 학교, 직장, 사업장에서 활동하는 청년이 반드시 포함돼야 한다. 또한 만 19세부터 39세까지 청년 비율이 60% 이상이어야 지원할 수 있다.
선정된 동아리는 사업 기간 동안 최소 3회 이상 정기 모임을 진행해야 한다. 지원금은 재료비, 강사료, 임차료 등 커뮤니티 활동에 직접 쓰이는 경비로 사용할 수 있다.
신청은 신청서와 활동계획서 등 필수 서류를 원본 스캔본으로 준비해 이메일로 제출하면 된다. 세부 서류 양식과 자세한 제출 방법은 중구청 누리집 공고문에서 확인 가능하다. 선정 결과는 5월 중 발표될 예정이다.
류규하 중구청장은 “이번 사업을 통해 청년들이 자율적으로 기획하고 운영하는 커뮤니티가 지역에 활기를 불어넣을 것으로 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 지역 청년 문화 활성화를 위한 지원을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.

Daegu Jung-gu has launched a call for applications for the ‘2026 Youth Community Activity Support Project’ to revitalize creative and voluntary youth groups.
According to the district, this call is open to youth clubs with four or more members, and applications will be accepted until 6:00 PM on April 10. A total of six teams will be selected, and each selected club will receive 1 million won in activity funding.
This project was designed to alleviate the financial burden on youth and foster sustainable communities. Support is available for club activities in various fields, including culture and arts, volunteering, self-development, debate, and preparation for employment or entrepreneurship.
Eligible clubs must be active in Jung-gu with four or more members, and must include a youth residing in Jung-gu or active at a school, workplace, or business within the district. Additionally, youth aged 19 to 39 must make up at least 60% of the membership to be eligible.
Selected clubs are required to hold regular meetings at least three times during the project period. The grant can be used for expenses directly incurred in community activities, such as material costs, instructor fees, and rent.
Applications should be submitted via email by preparing scanned copies of the originals for required documents, including the application form and activity plan. Detailed document forms and submission instructions can be found in the announcement on the Jung-gu Office website. The selection results are scheduled to be announced in May.
Jung-gu Mayor Ryu Gyu-ha stated, "I expect that communities autonomously planned and operated by young people will breathe vitality into the region through this project," adding, "We will continue to provide support to revitalize local youth culture."
