에코프로에이치엔은 배열회수보일러(HRSG) 업체 BHI와 대만 퉁샤오 LNG 발전소 SCR(선택적 촉매 환원) 설비 공급 계약을 체결했다고 30일 밝혔다. 계약 규모는 239억 원으로, 지난해 매출액의 약 17%에 해당한다.
배열회수보일러는 LNG 가스터빈에서 발생하는 고온 배기가스의 열을 재활용해 전력을 추가 생산하는 친환경 발전 설비다. 에코프로에이치엔이 공급하는 SCR 설비는 이 과정에서 발생하는 질소산화물(NOx)을 물과 질소로 전환해 대기오염을 저감하는 핵심 장치다.
특히 배열회수보일러는 대형 구조물 내부에서 대량의 배기가스를 실시간으로 처리해야 하는 고난도 공정이 요구되는 만큼, 이번 수주는 글로벌 시장에서 에코프로에이치엔의 기술력과 품질 경쟁력이 인정받은 사례로 평가된다.
