파주시의회가 1인 창조기업 육성을 위한 제도적 기반 마련에 나서며 지역 경제 활성화에 대한 기대를 높이고 있다.

파주시의회는 목진혁 의원이 발의한 파주시 1인 창조기업 육성 및 지원에 관한 조례안을 지난 27일 제262회 임시회 자치행정위원회에서 원안 가결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 조례안은 창의성과 기술을 기반으로 새로운 부가가치를 창출하는 1인 창조기업의 성장을 체계적으로 지원하기 위한 것으로, 창업 초기 단계부터 사업화와 성장 단계까지 전 주기에 걸친 지원 근거를 담고 있다.
목진혁 의원은 1인 창조기업이 지역경제에 새로운 활력을 불어넣는 중요한 주체라고 설명했으며 이어 창업 초기의 어려움을 완화하고 파주시가 1인 창업에 도전하기 좋은 환경으로 자리 잡는 계기가 되길 기대한다고 밝혔다.
또한 2024년 기준 파주시의 4인 미만 사업체가 약 5만 7천여 개로 전체의 86.9%를 차지하고 있는 점을 언급하며, 소규모 사업체 비중이 높은 지역 산업 구조를 고려할 때 이번 조례가 창업 친화적 생태계 조성에 의미 있는 역할을 할 것이라고 강조했다.
