‘시민주권 회복·민생경제 부활·중단 없는 현안 추진’ 3대 핵심 공약 발표

더불어민주당 허태정 대전시장 예비후보가 31일 오전 자신의 선거캠프에서 정책 기자회견을 열고 ‘대전시정의 정상화’를 위한 본격적인 행보에 나섰다.
허 예비후보는 현 민선 8기 시정을 독선과 불통, 무능으로 점철된 ‘비정상’ 상태로 규정하며, 이를 바로잡기 위한 3대 핵심 공약을 전면에 내세웠다.
허 예비후보는 가장 먼저 ‘시민주권 회복’을 강조했다. 민선 8기 들어 축소된 주민참여예산제를 복원하고, 시민참여 플랫폼 구축 및 시민감사관 도입을 통해 시정 운영의 원리를 시민 중심으로 돌려놓겠다는 구상이다.
그는 “주민참여예산은 단순히 예산을 나누는 것이 아니라, 시민이 자기 마을의 주인공이라는 긍지를 갖게 하는 진입통로”라며 “보여주기식 절차가 아닌 시정 운영의 핵심 원리로 시민 참여를 보장하겠다”고 밝혔다.

이날 공약 발표 후 이어진 질의응답에서 허 예비후보는 자신의 강점과 시정 운영 철학을 가감 없이 드러냈다.
