더불어민주당 충남도지사 후보 경선이 막바지로 치닫는 가운데, 양승조 예비후보 캠프에 이재명 대통령의 핵심 인적 라인이 속속 집결하며 선거판이 요동치고 있다.
지난 29일 사단법인 기본사회 충남본부의 지지 선언에 이어, 30일에는 이재명 대통령의 최측근으로 꼽히는 김용 전 민주연구원 부원장이 캠프를 전격 방문해 힘을 실었다.
성남시의원과 경기도 대변인, 대선 캠프 총괄선대부본부장을 지내며 이재명 대통령의 국정 철학을 가장 가까이서 공유해온 김용 전 부원장은 이날 방문에서 ‘지방분권’과 ‘재집권’을 화두로 던졌다.
그는 “민주당의 재집권은 거스를 수 없는 지상 목표이며, 그 중심에 충남과 천안, 대전이 있다”고 강조했다.
