대전문화재단(이하 재단)이 지역 예술인의 건강권을 지원하는 ‘예술인 검진비 지원사업’을 올해도 이어간다. 단순한 의료비 보조를 넘어, 예술활동이 끊기지 않도록 창작 기반을 뒷받침하는 복지정책 성격이 강하다.
재단은 2026년 사업을 통해 대전 거주 예술인에게 1인당 최대 30만 원 상당의 종합건강검진을 지원한다. 이 사업은 의료복지 사각지대에 놓인 예술인을 돕기 위해 2022년부터 운영돼 왔고, 매년 평균 40여 명이 혜택을 받은 것으로 전해졌다.
