대전시민이 함께 배우고 성장할 수 있는 열린 강연이 오는 5월 열린다.
대전평생교육진흥원은 5월 8일 오후 2시, 대전시청 대강당에서 ‘연합교양대학 대전의 재발견’ 강의를 오프라인으로 진행한다고 밝혔다.
이번 강의는 진흥원이 운영하는 연합교양대학 정규 교과과정의 하나로, 시민 누구나 자유롭게 참여할 수 있는 공개 특강 형태로 마련된다.
이번 강연의 강사로는 KAIST 실패연구소를 이끌고 있는 조성호 교수가 초청됐다. 조 교수는 ‘카이스트 실패연구소, 실패해도 괜찮아!’라는 주제를 통해 실패의 경험이 단순한 실수가 아닌 새로운 도전의 발판이 될 수 있음을 이야기할 예정이다.
시도와 좌절, 그리고 다시 일어서는 과정 속에서 발견되는 배움의 가치가 청중에게 따뜻한 울림으로 다가설 것으로 기대된다.
강연 현장에서는 참석자들을 위한 작은 즐거움도 준비됐다. 진흥원은 추첨을 통해 소정의 도서를 증정하는 이벤트를 진행하며 참여자들의 관심과 참여를 더욱 독려할 예정이다.
이주연 대전평생교육진흥원장은 “이번 특강은 대학생은 물론 일반 시민 누구에게나 열려 있는 자리”라며 “일상의 부담 없이 참여해 배움의 기쁨을 나누는 기회가 되길 바란다”고 전하고, “앞으로도 시민이 언제 어디서나 쉽게 참여할 수 있는 평생학습 프로그램을 꾸준히 확대해 나가겠다”고 덧붙였다.

The Daejeon Institute for Lifelong Education announced that it will hold the 'Joint Liberal Arts College: Rediscovering Daejeon' lecture offline at the Daejeon City Hall Auditorium on May 8 at 2:00 PM.
This lecture is part of the regular curriculum of the Joint Liberal Arts College operated by the Institute and is organized as an open special lecture that any citizen can freely participate in.
Professor Cho Seong-ho, who leads the KAIST Failure Lab, has been invited as the lecturer for this event.
