청와대는 이날 오후 언론 공지를 통해 '정부가 징검다리 연휴 기간인 오는 5월 4일을 임시공휴일로 지정하는 방안을 검토 중'이란 모 언론 보도 관련해 "사실 무근"이라며 이같이 전했다.
앞서 모 언론은 정부가 5월 1일 노동절부터 5월 5일 어린이날까지 닷새 간을 연휴로 지정하기 위해 5월 4일 임시공휴일을 검토 중이라고 보도한 바 있다.
