유정기 전북교육감 권한대행이 1일 독서교육 선도학교 정책 탐방을 실시했다.
이날 유 권한대행은 교육부 지정 '수업 중심 독서교육 선도학교'인 정읍 샘고을중학교를 방문해 독서 인문교육 운영을 점검하고 활성화 방안을 모색하는 현장 의견을 청취하는 시간을 가졌다.
유 권한대행은 이 자리에서 "샘고을중학교가 보여준 독서교육 모델은 도내 학교들이 나아가야 할 방향을 제시하고 있다"고 노고를 격려한 뒤 "아침 독서의 일상화와 교과 연계 독서 수업이 현장에 안착할 수 있도록 행ㆍ재정적 지원을 아끼지 않겠다"고 밝혔다.
