세종테크노파크(이하 세종TP)가 세종시만의 차별화된 콘텐츠를 발굴하고 지역 기업의 자생력을 키우기 위해 ‘2026년 세종 지역특화콘텐츠개발지원사업’ 공모에 나섰다.
이번 사업은 세종 지역의 고유한 문화 자산이나 전략적 육성 산업을 소재로 한 콘텐츠 개발을 돕고, 이를 통해 실질적인 부가가치를 창출하기 위해 마련됐다. 단순한 제작 지원을 넘어 지역 기업이 고유의 IP(지식재산권)를 확보하고 사업화까지 성공할 수 있도록 돕는 것이 핵심이다.
지원 분야는 기술 트렌드와 지역 산업의 특성을 고려해 총 세 가지 영역으로 세분화됐다.
가장 규모가 큰 융복합콘텐츠 분야는 과제당 1억 원을 지원하며, 실감형 기술 등 첨단 기술이 접목된 과제를 중점적으로 선발한다. 이어 최근 산업계의 화두인 AI 영상콘텐츠 분야는 과제당 2,500만 원을, 대중적 확산력이 높은 웹툰콘텐츠 분야는 과제당 500만 원의 제작비를 지원할 계획이다.
참여 대상은 세종시에 본사를 둔 콘텐츠 관련 기업이다. 기업 단독 참여는 물론, 사업의 전문성을 높이기 위해 타 지역 기업이나 유관 기관과 컨소시엄을 구성해 지원하는 것도 가능하다.
세종TP는 이번 공모를 통해 세종의 특화 소재가 혁신적인 콘텐츠로 재탄생함으로써 지역 콘텐츠 생태계가 한층 견고해질 것으로 기대하고 있다.
양현봉 세종테크노파크 원장은 “세종시가 보유한 유무형의 자원을 창의적인 콘텐츠로 전환하는 과정은 지역 경제 활성화에 있어 매우 중요한 과제”라며, “역량 있는 지역 기업들이 이번 사업을 발판 삼아 경쟁력을 확보할 수 있도록 최선을 다해 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편, 이번 사업의 접수 기간은 오는 4월 9일 오후 5시까지다. 신청을 희망하는 기업은 세종테크노파크 홈페이지를 통해 분야별 세부 지원 요건과 제출 서류를 확인한 뒤 온라인으로 접수하면 된다.

Sejong Technopark (hereinafter Sejong TP) has launched a call for proposals for the ‘2026 Sejong Regional Specialized Content Development Support Project’ to discover differentiated content unique to Sejong City and foster the self-reliance of local enterprises.

The support fields have been subdivided into three categories, taking into account technology trends and the characteristics of local industries.
The largest category, Convergence Content, provides 100 million won per project, with a focus on selecting projects that incorporate cutting-edge technologies such as immersive technology. Following this, the plan is to provide 25 million won per project for AI video content—a recent hot topic in the industry—and 5 million won per project for production costs for webtoon content, which enjoys high public reach. Eligible participants are content-related companies headquartered in Sejong City. Companies may apply independently, or form a consortium with companies from other regions or related organizations to enhance the project's expertise.
Sejong TP expects that this open call will further strengthen the local content ecosystem by transforming Sejong's specialized materials into innovative content.
Yang Hyun-bong, President of Sejong Technopark, stated, "The process of converting Sejong City's tangible and intangible resources into creative content is a critical task for revitalizing the local economy." Meanwhile, the application period for this project runs until 5:00 PM on April 9. Companies wishing to apply should check the detailed support requirements and required documents for each sector on the Sejong Technopark website and submit their applications online.
