경기 파주시가 중동 정세 장기화와 이에 따른 고유가·고물가 등 경제 불확실성에 대응하기 위해 ‘비상경제본부’를 중심으로 전방위 대응 체계를 가동했다.
시는 2일 기존 부시장 주도의 ‘비상경제대응 전담조직’을 시장 직속 ‘비상경제본부’로 격상하고, 시장이 직접 총괄 지휘에 나섰다고 밝혔다.
이는 고물가·고금리·고환율 등 이른바 ‘3고(高)’ 현상과 대외 리스크에 따른 민생 불안을 최소화하기 위한 선제적 조치로 풀이된다.

비상경제본부는 부시장이 부단장을 맡아 재정안정반, 경제안정반, 복지안정반, 민생안정반, 농축산안정반 등 5개 대응반으로 구성됐다.
각 대응반은 자체 상황반을 운영하며 정부와 경기도 정책 동향을 실시간으로 점검하고, 현장 중심의 상시 대응 체계를 유지한다.
특히 경제 위기 징후가 포착될 경우 즉각적인 대응이 가능하도록 신속 대응 시스템을 강화했다.
이날 열린 제1차 비상경제본부 회의에서는 분야별 구체적인 민생 안정 대책이 집중 논의됐다.

이를 통해 시민 불편을 최소화하고 사재기 등 시장 혼란을 차단하겠다는 구상이다.
