횡성군보건소 치매안심센터는 치매에 대한 사회적 인식을 개선하고 촘촘한 치매 친화적 지역 사회 망을 구축하기 위해 안흥면 소재 ‘안흥찐빵마을 작은도서관’을 ‘치매극복 선도도서관’으로 공식 지정했다고 2일 밝혔다.

이번에 지정된 치매극복 선도도서관은 주민들이 일상에서 쉽게 찾는 도서관의 뛰어난 접근성을 적극 활용한 것이 특징이다. 올바른 치매 예방 정보를 전파하는 것은 물론, 치매 환자와 가족들의 든든한 동반자가 되어주는 ‘치매 안심 파트너’로서의 역할을 톡톡히 해낼 전망이다.
