고양특례시의회가 시 재정 운영의 투명성과 책임성을 강화하기 위한 결산검사에 본격 착수했다.
고양특례시의회는 4월 3일 의장실에서 ‘2025회계연도 결산검사위원 위촉식’을 개최하고, 재정 및 회계 분야 전문가들로 구성된 결산검사위원 7명에게 위촉장을 수여했다고 밝혔다.
이번에 위촉된 결산검사위원은 시의원과 민간 전문가가 함께 참여하는 구조로, 전문성과 객관성을 동시에 확보했다.

대표위원에는 고덕희 의원과 김학영 의원이 선임됐으며, 민간위원으로는 공인회계사와 세무사, 전직 공무원 등 재무·행정 분야 전문가 5명이 포함됐다.
위원들은 위촉 당일인 4월 3일부터 오는 22일까지 총 20일간 결산검사에 돌입한다.
이 기간 동안 세입·세출 결산과 재무제표를 면밀히 점검하고, 성과보고서를 기반으로 예산 집행의 적정성을 평가할 예정이다.
아울러 재정 운영의 효율성을 분석하고 예산 낭비 사례가 있었는지도 집중적으로 살펴볼 계획이다.
김운남 의장은 위촉식에서 “결산검사는 단순히 지난 예산 집행을 점검하는 데 그치지 않고, 향후 재정 운영의 방향을 설정하는 중요한 과정”이라며 “위원들의 전문적인 시각을 통해 고양시 재정이 시민을 위해 제대로 쓰였는지 꼼꼼히 확인해달라”고 강조했다.
이번 결산검사를 통해 작성된 의견서는 고양시장에게 제출되며, 이후 오는 10월 예정된 제307회 고양시의회 제1차 정례회에서 최종 승인 절차를 거쳐 확정될 예정이다.
