경기도의회 보건복지위원회 소속 김완규 의원이 고양시 일산서구 가좌·대화마을 일대 주민들의 오랜 숙원인 축산농가 악취 문제 해결을 위해 직접 현장을 찾았다.

현재 일산서구 구산동 일대에는 양돈농가 4개소와 양계농가 1개소가 운영 중이며, 인근 가좌·대화마을 주민들은 장기간 악취로 인한 생활 불편을 호소해 왔다.
이에 시는 약 6천만 원의 예산을 투입해 ‘스마트 악취 모니터링 시스템’을 도입할 계획이다.
해당 시스템은 농가 주변의 악취 농도와 풍향·풍속 등 기상 데이터를 실시간으로 측정·관리하는 방식으로 운영된다.
또한 주민과 농가, 전문가가 함께 참여하는 ‘상생협의체’를 구성해 정기적인 소통 창구를 마련하고, 갈등 완화와 실질적인 해결책 도출에 나설 방침이다.
