대전 동구가 ‘미스트롯4’에서 3위를 차지한 신예 가수 홍성윤을 홍보대사로 위촉했다고 6일 밝혔다.
동구 출신인 홍씨는 국악을 바탕으로 한 가창력을 인정받으며 최근 대중적 인지도를 넓히고 있다.
홍씨는 지난해 경인방송 주최 ‘제3회 우리말창작가요제’에서 대상을 받는 등 여러 국악 경연에서 꾸준한 성과를 거둔 바 있다.
동구 관계자는 홍성윤 씨가 앞으로 2년 동안 동구의 주요 축제와 행사, 홍보 콘텐츠 제작에 참여해 도시 브랜드를 알리는 역할을 수행하게 될 것이라고 전했다.
홍씨는 위촉식에서 고향의 홍보대사가 된 것을 영광으로 생각하며 지역의 매력을 알리는 데 힘쓰겠다고 밝혔다. 박희조 동구청장은 지역 인재가 전국 무대에서 활약하며 고향의 이름을 높인 점에 감사를 표했다.
