세종특별자치시교육청 학교지원본부가 교원의 심리 치유와 교육활동 보호를 강화한 ‘교육활동보호센터 운영 체제 개선안’을 시행한다고 6일 밝혔다.
주목할 점은 교원들이 상담 신청 과정에서 느끼는 위축이나 심리적 부담을 줄이고 위기 상황에서 즉각적인 도움을 받도록 지원 체계를 전면 개편했다는 것이다.
유선 중심이던 상담 신청 방식도 정보무늬(QR코드) 기반의 온라인 시스템으로 바꿔 교원의 접근성을 높였다. 상담 시간을 오전 '긴급 사안'과 오후 '일반 상담'으로 분리 운영해 예측 가능성을 확보하고 대기 시간 또한 단축할 수 있도록 했다.
아울러 근무지 인근서 익명으로 상담할 수 있도록 나성동과 아름동, 조치원읍의 전문상담기관 3개소를 신규 지정했다. 특히 주 1회 운영하던 야간 상담을 교원이 원하는 시간에 상시 이용할 수 있는 체제로 전환해 수업 이후 치유 시간을 확보했다.
