대전 유성구가 한국전력공사의 '345kV 신계룡~북천안 송전선로 건설사업' 계획에 대응해 주민 생존권과 주거 환경 사수를 위한 민관합동 TF를 본격 출범시켰다.
유성구의 이번 조치는 한전의 계획이 지역민의 일방적인 희생을 전제로 하고 있다는 판단 아래, 구청과 주민이 손을 잡고 공동 대응에 나선 것이다.
이를 위해 유성구는 6일 구청 대회의실에서 입지선정위원 15명과 관계 공무원 등 총 23명으로 구성된 민관합동 TF 출범식 및 1차 회의를 개최했다. 이날 첫 회의에서 주민 대표들은 해당 사업의 전면 백지화를 강력히 요구하며 한전의 사업 추진 방식에 거세게 항의했다.
특히 피해가 우려되는 권역별 특성에 따른 반발이 거세다. 이미 154kV 송전탑으로 인해 경관 훼손과 재산권 침해를 겪고 있는 진잠·학하권역 주민들은 추가적인 송전선로 건설은 수용 불가능하다는 입장이다. 아파트와 학교가 밀집한 노은권역 역시 노선 통과 시 주거 환경과 생활권이 심각하게 파괴될 것이라는 우려가 깊다.
