[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 정부관리양곡의 체계적인 관리와 품질 유지를 위해 8일까지 ‘2026년 상반기 정부관리양곡 정기 재고조사’를 실시한다고 7일 밝혔다.

정부관리양곡은 정부가 민간으로부터 매입하거나 해외에서 수입하는 등의 방법으로 취득·관리하는 양곡으로, 이번 조사는 관내 정부관리양곡 보관창고 6개소를 대상으로 진행된다.

정부관리양곡 재고조사는 양곡 수급계획 수립의 정확성을 확보하고, 관리 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 착오, 부정 유출을 사전에 방지하기 위해 매년 상·하반기 연 2회 정기적으로 실시하는 점검이다.

시는 이번 점검을 통해 정부관리양곡의 재고관리 실태를 전반적으로 확인하고, 보관 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 품질 저하 요인을 사전에 차단할 계획이다.

점검은 시와 국립농산물품질관리원이 합동으로 실시하며, 보관창고를 방문해 양곡대장과 실제 재고량의 일치 여부를 확인한다. 또 충해, 발열, 변색 등 양곡의 품위 상태와 보관시설의 파손·고장 여부 등 안전보관 기준 준수 여부를 중점적으로 점검한다.
