전국 군 단위 최초 보건·복지 통합 거점 운영...‘정든 집에서 노후를’ 목표

전국적인 의료·요양 통합지원 사업 시행에 발맞춰 청양군이 선도적으로 구축한 ‘농촌형 통합돌봄 모델’의 현장 실효성 확인과 고도화에 집중하고 있다.
전상욱 청양부군수는 지난 6일 고령자복지주택 내 통합돌봄센터를 찾아 셰어형 주택과 식사 지원 등 어르신 밀착형 프로그램의 운영 실태를 직접 확인했다.
이번 점검은 지난달 말부터 본격 시행된 정부의 지역돌봄 통합지원 정책에 대응해 기존 돌봄 전달체계의 작동 여부를 점검하기 위해 마련했다.
전국 군 단위 지자체 중 처음으로 보건과 복지를 한 공간에서 제공하는 이 센터는 어르신들이 시설 대신 정든 집에서 존엄한 노후를 보내도록 돕는 거점 역할을 수행한다.
재택의료팀과 사회복지관 등으로 구성된 센터는 질병이나 노쇠로 일상생활이 어려운 주민에게 체계적인 재가 서비스를 제공한다.
전 부군수는 현장에서 종사자들을 격려하며 보건의료와 요양 분야를 아우르는 촘촘한 돌봄 네트워크 형성을 당부했다.
