대전 서구가 2025회계연도 예산 집행 전반을 점검하고 재정 운영의 투명성을 높이기 위한 결산검사에 들어간다.
서구는 7일 “이번 결산검사는 구 재정의 건전성과 효율성을 면밀히 검증하기 위한 절차로, 오는 8일부터 27일까지 20일간 진행된다”고 밝혔다.
2025회계연도 결산 결과에 따르면 서구의 세입은 1조 3,028억 원, 세출은 1조 2,113억 원으로 집계됐다. 재무제표 기준 자산 대비 부채 비율은 2.5%로, 안정적인 재정 건전성을 유지하고 있다는 평가다.
결산검사는 구의원과 세무사 등 외부 전문가 6명으로 구성된 결산검사위원회가 맡는다. 위원들은 예산 집행의 법규 준수 여부와 사업의 타당성, 재정 효율성 등을 중점적으로 살펴 공정하고 전문적인 시각에서 점검할 계획이다.
서구는 이번 검사에서 드러난 문제점은 적극적으로 개선하고, 우수 사례는 지속적으로 확대해 구 재정의 신뢰도와 투명성을 한층 높인다는 방침이다.
결산검사 결과는 오는 5월 31일까지 결산검사의견서를 포함한 결산안으로 구의회에 제출될 예정이다. 서구의회는 제1차 정례회 승인 절차를 거쳐 결산 내용을 구민에게 공개한다.
