대전시교육청이 7일 대전평생학습관 어울림홀에서 관내 초·중·고등학교 교장 300여 명을 대상으로 ‘학생맞춤통합지원 학교관리자 역량 강화 연수’를 열었다.
이번 연수는 2026년 전면 시행을 앞둔 학생맞춤통합지원 정책을 학교 현장에 안착시키기 위한 사전 준비의 일환이다.
‘학생맞춤통합지원’은 학습, 경제, 정서 등 복합적인 어려움을 겪는 학생을 돕기 위해 개별로 운영되던 각종 지원 사업을 학생 중심으로 통합하는 체계다. 기존의 단위별 접근에서 벗어나 학교와 지역사회, 유관기관이 함께 촘촘히 연계해 지원 공백을 최소화하는 것이 핵심이다.
연수에서는 학교 관리자들이 정책의 취지와 운영 방향을 충분히 이해하고, 학교 단위에서 실질적인 실행력을 높일 수 있는 방안을 중점적으로 다뤘다. 참여자들은 학교-교육지원청-지역사회 간 협력 구조를 어떻게 구축할지, 현장에서의 사례 중심 운영 체계를 어떻게 마련할지에 대해 활발히 의견을 나눴다.
대전시교육청은 이번 연수를 계기로 학생맞춤통합지원 추진 체계를 구체화하고, 각 학교에 적용할 운영 모델을 개발할 계획이다. 또한 지역사회 협력기관 확대와 행·재정적 지원 체계 마련 등 실행 기반을 강화해 정책이 현장에서 유기적으로 작동할 수 있도록 할 방침이다.
교육복지안전과 김현임 과장은 “이번 연수가 학교 관리자들의 인식과 역량을 높이는 출발점이 되길 바란다”며 “대전의 모든 학생이 학습과 생활에서 겪는 복합적 어려움을 극복하도록 세밀한 맞춤형 통합지원 체계를 구축하겠다”고 말했다.
