(무안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전라남도가 교육 사각지대 해소를 위해 도민이 원하는 장소로 직접 찾아가는 배달강좌 프로그램, ‘2026년 전남형 평생학습’ 운영을 본격적으로 시작한다.
전남형 평생학습은 도민 10명 내외가 팀을 꾸려 원하는 강좌와 장소를 신청하면, 강사가 마을회관이나 가정 등 현장으로 직접 방문해 수업을 진행하는 수요자 중심 교육 모델이다.
특히 교통이 불편하거나 교육시설이 멀어 평생학습 혜택을 받기 어려웠던 농어촌 지역 주민들에게 큰 호응을 얻고 있다. 전남도는 사업 운영에 필요한 강사비와 재료비를 전액 지원하여 학습자의 부담을 최소화하고 있다.
올해 운영되는 강좌는 도민들의 실질적인 삶의 질 향상에 초점을 맞췄다.강좌는 ▲자격증 취득 등 취·창업을 돕는 직업교육 ▲건강·취미·인문학 등 생활교육 ▲AI 활용 교육 등 다양한 분야로 운영된다. 특히 경력단절 도민의 재취업과 창업을 돕는 교육도 함께 지원할 계획이다.
지난해 전남형 평생학습은 총 124개 강좌에 1,868명이 참여하며 괄목할 만한 성과를 냈다. 참여자 중 47명이 취·창업에 성공하고 302명이 자격증을 취득했으며, 교육 만족도는 95.44%에 달하는 것으로 나타났다.
전남도는 이러한 성과를 바탕으로 올해 지원 규모를 더욱 늘렸다. 지난 1월과 3월, 두 차례에 걸친 시군 공모와 전문가 심의를 통해 최종 155개 강좌, 2,064명에 대한 지원을 확정하고 본격적인 수업에 돌입한다.
