파주도시공사가 제81회 식목일을 기념해 지난 6일 월롱 청사에서 오늘도 청렴, 맑은 숨결을 심는 날 행사를 개최했다.

이번 행사는 공사 임직원들이 함께 참여하는 청렴 실천형 친환경 프로그램으로 진행됐다.
공사는 나무를 심는 전통적인 식목일의 의미를 넘어 청렴을 일상적인 조직 문화로 뿌리내리기 위해 이번 자리를 마련했으며 임직원들은 개별 화분을 전달받아 직접 돌보고 청사 화단에 다양한 초화류를 심으며 쾌적한 근무 환경 조성과 온실가스 저감 활동에 동참했다.
특히 행사에 사용된 화분과 꽃 묘목은 파주 관내 지역 화훼농가에서 직접 구매했고 이는 공기업으로서 지역 사회와의 상생을 도모하고 사회적 책임을 실천한다는 취지를 담고 있으며 또 친환경 실천 캠페인을 병행하여 임직원들의 환경 감수성을 높이는 계기를 마련했다.
