대전시가 2027년 국비 5조 원 시대를 열기 위한 전열을 가다듬었다.
시는 8일 시청 대회의실에서 이장우 시장 주재로 ‘2027년 국비 사업 발굴 최종 보고회’를 열고, 전년보다 5% 늘어난 5조 406억 원을 국비 확보 목표액으로 확정했다.
첨단 미래 산업의 주도권을 잡기 위한 신규 과제들이 이번 국비 사업의 전면에 배치됐다.
총사업비 1,600억 원 규모의 ‘국가 양자 클러스터 구축’과 인공지능·바이오를 결합한 ‘AIxBio 혁신 연구 거점 조성’ 등 대전의 전략 산업을 고도화할 굵직한 사업들이 발굴 명단에 이름을 올렸다.
방산 소부장 특화단지 지정과 청년 친화형 로봇·드론 연구 타운 조성도 신규 사업으로 선정해 지역 경제의 체질 개선을 노린다.
도시의 혈맥을 잇는 교통 건설 분야의 속도감 있는 추진도 핵심 과제다. 1조 5,069억 원이 투입되는 도시철도 2호선 트램과 충청권 광역철도 1단계 건설 등 계속 사업에 국비를 집중 투입해 완공 시기를 최대한 앞당길 방침이다.
외삼~유성복합터미널 비알티(BRT) 연결 사업 등도 차질 없이 마무리해 시민들의 출퇴근 환경을 획기적으로 개선한다.
주민 생활의 질을 높일 공공 의료와 문화 인프라 확충도 놓치지 않았다. 대전의료원 설립과 국립현대미술관 대전관 조성 등 필수적인 계속 사업들을 안정적으로 추진해 사회안전망과 문화 주권을 동시에 확보할 계획이다.
