충남대학교병원이 8일 오전 혈관조영실에서 최신 혈관조영장비 도입 기념식을 열고, 정밀 진단과 안전한 치료 환경 구축을 향한 새로운 도약을 알렸다.
충남대병원이 새로 도입한 장비는 필립스(Philips)의 Azurion 시리즈(7M12, 7M20, 7B20/15) 등 총 4대로, 영상의학과 혈관조영실뿐 아니라 뇌혈관센터와 심혈관센터에도 설치됐다.
이 장비들은 소량의 조영제만으로도 고해상도 영상을 구현하며, 방사선 노출을 최소화해 환자 안전성을 크게 높였다.
특히, AI 기반 ‘Smart Workflow’ 기술이 탑재되어 영상 촬영부터 분석, 보고까지 전 과정을 자동화할 수 있다. 이를 통해 의료진은 보다 빠르고 정확한 시술 환경을 확보하고, 복잡한 혈관 중재 시술에서도 높은 정밀도를 유지할 수 있게 됐다.
조강희 병원장은 “우리 병원은 대전·충남 권역심뇌혈관질환센터를 중심으로 지역의 심뇌혈관질환 치료를 선도해왔다”며 “이번 첨단 장비 도입은 환자 안전을 기반으로 고난도 시술 역량을 한층 강화하는 계기가 될 것”이라고 말했다.
한편 이번 장비 도입은 교육부의 노후 의료장비 교체사업과 보건복지부 권역책임의료기관 최종치료 역량 강화 사업의 일환으로 추진됐다. 충남대병원은 향후에도 첨단 기술 기반의 의료 인프라를 확충해 지역 의료의 질적 성장을 지속해나갈 방침이다.
