“전력·행정·교통 인프라 갖춘 충남이 최적지”…
획기적 교통 혁신 ‘통(通)하는 충남’ 청사진 제시
더불어민주당 충남도지사 경선 결선에 나선 박수현 후보(국회의원, 공주·부여·청양)가 충남의 미래 성장 동력으로 ‘UN AI 허브 유치’와 ‘초광역 교통망 구축’을 전면에 내세웠다.
박 후보는 9일 충남도청에서 기자회견을 열고, 인류 보편적 권리를 지키는 국제 공공지능의 중심지로서의 충남과 사통팔달 교통망으로 사람과 산업이 모이는 충남을 만들겠다는 강한 의지를 밝혔다.
박 후보의 핵심 공약인 ‘UN AI 허브’ 유치는 지난달 세계보건기구(WHO) 등 유엔 핵심 6개 기구가 협력의향서에 서명하며 가시화되고 있는 국책 사업이다.
박 후보는 “수익만을 쫓는 AI가 아니라 인류 전체를 위한 ‘공공지능(AI for All)’의 가치는 제가 추구하는 AI 기본사회와 일맥상통한다”며 “UN AI 허브 유치를 통해 충남을 제네바나 빈에 버금가는 국제협력의 새로운 중심지로 도약시키겠다”고 강조했다.
