충남 서천군이 미래 핵심 먹거리인 해양바이오 산업의 주도권을 확보하기 위해 유망 기업 발굴과 육성에 본격적으로 나섰다.
서천군은 충남테크노파크(충남TP)와 공동으로 ‘2026년 해양수산자원 산업화 육성 지원’ 사업에 참여할 수혜 기업을 모집한다고 9일 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 군이 심혈을 기울여 추진 중인 해양바이오 클러스터에 경쟁력을 갖춘 기업을 유치하고, 지역의 신성장 동력을 공고히 하기 위해 기획됐다.
이번 육성 사업의 핵심은 단순 예산 지원을 넘어 기업 성장의 전 과정을 돕는 ‘전주기 통합 지원 시스템’에 있다. 선정된 기업은 연구개발(R&D)뿐만 아니라 맞춤형 사업화 컨설팅, 판로 개척 등 실질적인 성장 단계별 지원을 받게 된다.
지원 대상은 해양바이오 분야의 참신한 아이디어를 가진 예비창업자 또는 창업한 지 7년 이내인 기업이다. 군은 심사를 통해 총 3개 사를 선발할 계획이며, 선정 기업에는 전략 소재 개발이나 상품화 공정 개발 등을 위해 업체당 약 7,000만 원의 사업비를 지원한다.

On the 9th, Seocheon County announced that it is recruiting beneficiary companies to participate in the ‘2026 Marine and Fisheries Resource Industrialization Support’ project in collaboration with Chungnam Technopark (Chungnam TP).
This project was planned to attract competitive companies to the marine bio cluster, which the county is striving to promote, and to solidify the region's new growth engines.
