과학기술의 중심지 대전에서 여성 기업인들이 지역 경제의 새로운 도약을 선포하며 본격적인 행보에 나선다.
대전여성기업인협회(회장 김도경)는 오는 13일 오후 6시 유성 오노마 호텔 5층 그랜드볼룸에서 창립기념식을 열고 공식 출범한다고 밝혔다.
이번 협회 출범은 대전 지역 여성들의 경제적 도전을 응원하고, 과학도시 대전의 발전을 이끄는 핵심 동력이 되겠다는 의지를 담고 있다.
이날 행사에는 이장우 대전시장과 조원휘 대전시의회 의장을 비롯해 내빈과 회원 100여 명이 참석할 예정이다. 창립기념식은 협회의 공식 창립 선포를 시작으로 상생 협약식, 대전 경제의 주역으로 거듭나기 위한 비전 선포식 순으로 진행된다.
초대 회장을 맡은 김도경 회장은 “대전의 상징인 ‘과학’에 여성 특유의 ‘섬세한 리더십’을 결합해 지역 경제에 새로운 활력을 불어넣겠다”며 “협회 출범은 대전이 일류 경제도시로 도약하는 데 있어 여성 기업인들이 핵심 주역으로 자리매김했음을 의미한다”고 강조했다.
협회는 앞으로 지역 경제 활성화를 최우선 과제로 설정하고 여성 기업 간 네트워크 강화 ,차세대 여성 경제인 육성 ,과학기술 기반의 창업 생태계 조성 ,지역 사회공헌 활동 확대 등 전방위적인 사업을 전개할 계획이다.
특히 대전의 첨단 인프라에 여성 기업인의 유연하고 따뜻한 경영 모델을 접목해 혁신적인 기업 문화를 제시할 것으로 기대를 모은다.
협회 관계자는 “과학도시의 자부심을 바탕으로 지역 경제의 온기를 높이는 데 앞장서겠다”며 “상생과 협력의 정신으로 대전이 대한민국 경제의 중심축으로 우뚝 설 수 있도록 모든 역량을 집중할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
김도경 회장은 “여성 기업인의 활약이 곧 대전의 경쟁력이라는 믿음으로 대전시와 상생의 길을 가고자 한다”며 “대전 경제의 새로운 역사가 시작되는 자리에 많은 분이 참석해 자리를 빛내주시길 바란다”고 덧붙였다.
