【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도교육청은 10일 오후 3시, 청주하이텍고등학교에서 교사들과 함께 <찾아가는 교육감 소통간담회>를 열고 교육활동 보호와 교권 침해 관련 현안에 대해 현장 의견을 청취했다.
이번 간담회는 교육활동 보호와 교권 침해 문제에 대한 교사들의 의견을 직접 듣고 수요자 맞춤형 지원을 강화하기 위해 마련됐다.
교육감이 직접 주재한 간담회에서는 저경력 교사, 생활지도 담당 교사, 산학협력 담당 교사 등 다양한 역할의 교원들이 참여해 학생 생활지도 과정에서의 갈등 상황, 학부모 민원 대응 부담, 정서·행동 위기 학생 지도 등 학교 현장에서 체감하는 어려움에 대해 의견을 나눴다.
교권 침해 문제를 중심으로 보다 체계적이고 실효성 있는 지원 체계 마련의 필요성도 제기됐다.
아울러 특성화고 교육과 관련해 산업현장과 연계된 실습 중심 수업에서의 안전 관리 부담, 기초학력 부족 학생 지도, 수업 방해 학생 생활지도, 학생 맞춤형 지도 필요성 등에 대해서도 공감대를 형성했다.
간담회에 참석한 한 교사는 “교권 침해 이후 회복 단계에서 가장 중요한 것은 교사의 심리적 안정”이라며 치유·회복 프로그램인 <마음 클리닉>의 확대 필요성을 강조했다.
윤건영 교육감은 “현장의 문제는 현장에서 답을 찾아야 한다.”라며 “교사들이 교육활동에 전념할 수 있도록 학교와 교육청 차원의 체계적인 지원을 강화하고 지속적인 소통을 이어가겠다.”라고 말했다.
한편, 충북교육청은 학교와 사전 협의를 거쳐 간담회를 운영하고, 현장에서 제시된 의견을 검토해 조치 결과를 안내하는 등 지속적인 현장 소통 체계를 이어갈 계획이다.
