대전 대덕구 송촌동 상점가 상인회(회장 정상목)가 최근 문평동 공장 화재로 큰 피해를 입은 근로자와 그 가족들을 돕기 위해 성금 100만 원을 기탁했다.
이번 성금은 화재 소식을 접한 상인들이 자발적으로 뜻을 모으며 시작됐다.
매달 돌아오는 임대료와 껑충 뛴 인건비를 걱정해야 하는 처지지만, 하루아침에 일터를 잃고 실의에 빠진 근로자들의 사정이 남 일 같지 않았기 때문이다.
