[브레이크뉴스 양주=김완영 기자] 경기도 양주시는 ‘제9회 양주시 회암사지 왕실축제’에서 DJ 파티를 처음 선보인다.
시는 오는 18일 오후 8시 회암사지 메인 무대에서 ‘별산의 회암사지 봉인해제 DJ 파티’를 진행한다. 공연은 약 30분간 이어질 예정이다.
이번 프로그램은 왕실 사찰 회암사 터에서 열리는 축제에 DJ 공연을 편성한 첫 사례다.
공연은 전문 DJ의 디제잉을 중심으로 진행되며, 양주시 SNS 캐릭터 ‘별산’이 무대에 함께 올라 관람객과 호흡하며 분위기를 돋운다.
무대는 음악과 영상 연출이 결합된 형태로, 디제잉과 현장 퍼포먼스를 통해 유적 공간의 정적인 분위기를 전환하는 공연으로 기획됐다.
양주시는 축제 현장에서 촬영한 공연 영상을 향후 유튜브 ‘양주 별산’ 채널을 통해 공개할 예정이다. 해당 채널은 현재 구독자 약 8만7600명을 보유하고 있다.
이번 시도는 최근 지자체 축제가 야간 콘텐츠를 강화하고 청년층 유입을 확대하는 흐름 속에서 추진됐다. 양주시는 DJ 파티 도입을 통해 야간 프로그램을 보강하고 축제의 체류시간 확대를 유도한다는 계획이다.
