【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 보은군은 지역 농산물의 안정적인 유통망 확보와 소비 촉진을 위해 조성한 ‘스마트먹거리유통센터’가 13일부터 시범 운영에 들어간다고 밝혔다.
‘스마트먹거리유통센터’는 충청북도 지역균형발전사업의 일환으로 추진된 민선 8기 주요 역점사업으로 총사업비 49억 9,000만 원(도비 15억 2,000만 원, 군비 34억 7,000만 원)이 투입됐다. 속리산으로 진입하는 관문인 보은읍 성족리 동학공원 내에 연면적 1,046㎡, 지상 2층 규모로 건립됐다.
유통센터에는 지역 농가에서 당일 수확한 신선 농산물을 직접 구매할 수 있는 로컬푸드 직매장과 방문객들이 쉬어갈 수 있는 로컬카페가 들어서 시범 운영과 함께 먼저 운영을 시작한다.
