【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=단양군농촌활성화지원센터는 지난 2월부터 일반농산어촌개발사업 완료지구 배후마을 주민을 대상으로 찾아가는 문화·복지·교육 프로그램을 운영하고 있다고 밝혔다.
‘배후마을 서비스 전달’ 사업은 일반농산어촌개발사업 완료지구를 거점으로 배후마을까지 각종 서비스를 확산해 지역 간 생활서비스 격차를 줄이고 주민 삶의 질을 높이기 위해 추진된다.
특히 마을로 직접 찾아가는 방식으로 운영돼 문화·교육 프로그램 접근성이 상대적으로 낮은 주민들의 참여 기회를 넓히고 있다.
센터는 ‘우리마을 문화학교’ 프로그램 가운데 주민 만족도와 참여도가 높은 강좌를 선별해 배후마을 주민에게 확대 운영함으로써 사업의 효율성과 지속성을 높이고 있다.
운영 프로그램은 다육아트, 목공예, 조향공예, 스마트폰 활용 교육, 원예 수업 등 주민 수요를 반영한 실생활 중심의 체험·교육 과정으로 구성됐다.
이번 사업은 단순한 프로그램 제공을 넘어 주민 간 교류를 활성화하고 공동체 기능 회복을 도모하는 데에도 의미를 두고 있다.
아울러 읍·면 중심지 거점시설에 대한 주민 참여를 확대하고, 완료지구 중심시설의 활용도를 높이는 데에도 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
금상수 단양군농촌활성화지원센터장은 “배후마을 주민의 문화 향유 기회를 넓히고 지역 간 균형 있는 발전을 이루기 위해 사업을 지속적으로 추진할 계획”이라며 “앞으로도 주민 수요를 반영한 맞춤형 프로그램 운영을 통해 농촌지역 활성화에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
