대전 대덕구의회가 13일 오후 문평근린공원 내 마련된 문평동 화재 희생자 합동분향소를 방문해 고인들의 넋을 기렸다.
전석광 의장을 비롯해 대덕구의원들과 의회사무과 직원들은 분향소에서 희생자들을 추모하며 깊은 애도의 뜻을 전하고, 유가족들에게 위로를 전했다.
전석광 의장은 “예기치 못한 화재로 귀중한 생명이 희생된 데 대해 마음 깊이 애도하며, 유가족분들께도 깊은 위로의 말씀을 드린다”고 말했다. 이어 “대덕구의회는 다시는 이런 비극이 반복되지 않도록 지역 내 안전관리와 예방 대책 강화에 최선을 다하겠다”고 강조했다.
한편, 지난달 20일 대덕구의 한 공장에서 발생한 대형 화재로 14명이 숨지고 70여 명이 크고 작은 부상을 입는 등 대규모 인명피해가 발생했다.
