옥천군농업기술센터는 이에 발맞춰 현장기술지원단을 운영하며, 사과 안정생산과 과수화상병 등 병해충 예방을 위해 주 1회 사과원을 순회 점검할 계획이다. 또한 생육 단계별 상황과 병해충 발생 여부를 종합적으로 점검하고, 개화 전후와 장마철 등 주요 시기에는 사전 대응 요령을 집중 안내하는 등 현장 중심의 맞춤형 기술지도를 실시할 방침이다.
