【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=옥천군치매안심센터는 14일 옥천군립치매전담요양원 종사자 70여 명을 대상으로 치매 역량강화 교육을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
이번 교육은 치매 유관기관 종사자의 치매 이해도를 높이고 현장 대응 역량을 강화하기 위해 마련됐으며, 치매관리사업 홍보를 병행해 지역사회 치매관리 체계 구축에도 기여하고자 추진됐다.
교육은 충북광역치매센터 차다연 강사가 맡아 ▲치매 기본 이해 ▲치매 주요 증상 및 예방법 ▲치매 조기발견 및 초기 대응 ▲치매 환자 의사소통 및 대응기술 등을 중심으로 진행됐다. 특히 실제 사례를 바탕으로 한 설명을 통해 현장에서 즉시 활용 가능한 실질적인 대응 방법을 제시해 참석자들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.
옥천군치매안심센터 관계자는 “유관기관 종사자들은 치매 어르신을 가장 가까이에서 돌보는 중요한 역할을 맡고 있다”며 “이번 교육을 통해 치매에 대한 올바른 이해와 대응 역량이 한층 강화되길 기대한다”고 말했다. 이어 “앞으로도 지속적인 교육과 협력을 통해 치매 친화적 지역사회 조성에 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편, 옥천군치매안심센터는 앞으로도 지역 내 유관기관과 협력을 강화해 치매 예방 및 관리사업을 지속적으로 추진할 계획이다.

Okcheon County Dementia Relief Center Conducts Capacity Building Training for Staff at County Dementia-Specialized Nursing Homes
The Okcheon County Dementia Relief Center announced that it conducted dementia capacity building training on the 14th for approximately 70 staff members of the Okcheon County Dementia-Specialized Nursing Home.
