【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북테크노파크는 디지털ESG얼라이언스(i-DEA, 협회장 최갑홍)와 디지털 ESG 기반 산업 혁신 및 지역 클러스터 고도화를 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 14일 판교 제2테크노밸리 기업지원허브에서 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 글로벌 환경 규제 강화와 디지털·AI 중심의 산업구조 전환이 가속화되는 상황에서, 충북 주력산업의 지속성장 가능성과 글로벌 경쟁력을 동시에 확보하기 위한 전략적 협력의 일환으로 추진됐다.
최근 유럽연합(EU)의 탄소국경조정제도(CBAM) 도입, 글로벌 공급망 ESG 규제 강화, 그리고 AI 기반 산업 재편이 본격화되면서 기업의 탄소·환경·데이터 관리 역량은 수출 경쟁력을 좌우하는 핵심 요소로 부상하고 있다. 특히 이차전지와 지능형첨단부품 산업은 △탄소 배출 관리, △공급망 투명성 확보, △ESG 데이터 기반 의사결정 체계 구축이 필수 요건으로 자리잡고 있어, 이를 통합적으로 대응할 수 있는 디지털 ESG 체계 구축이 시급한 상황이다.
