대전연구원 대전경제교육센터가 지역 내 경제 현안을 해결하고 시민들의 경제 역량을 강화하기 위해 주요 유관기관들과 협력 체계를 공고히 다졌다.
대전경제교육센터는 14일 오전 대전연구원 대회의실에서 ‘2026년 상반기 대전경제교육 실무협의회’를 개최했다. 이번 협의회는 대전광역시와 대전광역시교육청을 비롯해 금융감독원 대전충남세종지원, 한국은행 대전세종충남본부, 한국개발연구원(KDI), 한국조폐공사 등 지역 경제 교육을 주도하는 13개 기관의 실무자들이 참석한 가운데 진행되었다.
이번 회의의 핵심은 기관별로 흩어져 있던 교육 자원을 통합하고, 시민들이 피부로 느낄 수 있는 ‘지역 밀착형 교육’을 실현하는 데 있었다. 각 기관은 2026년도 경제교육 추진 계획을 공유하며, 특히 전세 피해 예방과 디지털 금융 범죄 대응, 취약계층 자립 지원 등 최근 대두된 사회적 이슈를 교육 과정에 적극적으로 반영하기로 뜻을 모았다.
대전경제교육센터는 올해 유아부터 어르신까지 전 생애주기를 아우르는 교육을 통해 약 2만 2천여 명의 시민에게 배움의 기회를 제공할 예정이고, 특히 소상공인시장진흥공단, 하나은행, 대전광역자활센터 등과의 협업을 통해 지역사회의 다변화된 교육 수요에 민첩하게 대응한다는 방침이다.
이날 협의회에서는 기관 간의 경계를 허무는 구체적인 협력 모델도 제시되었다. 한국조폐공사와 협력한 장애인 대상 교육, 대전전세피해지원센터와 함께하는 사회초년생 대상 전세 사기 예방 교육 등이 대표적이다.
또한, 자유학기제와 고교학점제에 맞춘 새로운 수업 모델 개발과 지역 내 우수 교육 사례 발굴 등 교육의 질적 향상을 위한 심도 있는 제안들이 이어졌다.
강영주 대전경제교육센터장은 “다양한 기관의 우수한 교육 자원을 공유함으로써 대전 시민들에게 한 단계 높은 수준의 교육을 제공할 수 있게 되었다”며, “급변하는 경제 환경 속에서 시민들이 실질적인 도움을 얻을 수 있는 맞춤형 프로그램을 지속적으로 발굴해 나가겠다”고 전했다.

On the morning of the 14th, the Daejeon Economic Education Center held the ‘2026 First Half Daejeon Economic Education Working Group Meeting’ in the main conference room of the Daejeon Institute.
