방명록에 “시민 삶 지키는 시장 되겠다” 약속
홍범도 장군·천안함 묘역 찾아 안보·통합 행보…
더불어민주당 대전시장 후보로 확정된 허태정 후보가 경선 통과 후 첫 공식 일정으로 국립대전현충원을 찾아 본선 승리를 향한 결의를 다졌다.
허 후보는 14일 오전 경선선대위원, 캠프 관계자, 지지자 등 200여 명과 함께 국립대전현충원을 방문해 현충탑에 참배했다. 이번 일정은 당내 경선을 마친 뒤 대전시장 수성을 위한 본격적인 선거 체제로의 전환을 알리는 신호탄으로 풀이된다.
허 후보는 현충탑 참배에 앞서 방명록에 “애국선열의 뜻을 이어받아 시민의 삶을 지키는 시장이 되겠습니다”라고 적으며 시정 운영의 최우선 가치를 ‘시민의 안전과 삶’에 두겠다는 의지를 표명했다.

현충탑 참배 후 허 후보는 경내의 홍범도 장군 묘역, 천안함 46용사 묘역을 잇따라 방문하며 통합의 메시지를 던졌다.
참배를 마친 허 후보는 현장에서 이번 지방선거에 임하는 강한 포부를 밝혔다.
허 후보는 “이재명 정부의 성공과 시민 주권 회복, 그리고 민생 회복을 위해 대전 전역에서 더불어민주당의 압승을 반드시 이끌어내겠다”며 지지자들 앞에서 승리를 약속했다.
