대전지역 사회복지계가 제9회 전국동시지방선거를 앞두고 시민 복지 향상과 종사자 처우 개선을 위한 대규모 정책 제안에 나섰다.
대전광역시사회복지협의회와 대전광역시사회복지기관연대는 14일 오전 대전광역시의회 북문 앞에서 100여 명의 관계자가 집결한 가운데 기자회견을 열고, 차기 시정에 반영되어야 할 핵심 복지 과제들을 발표했다.
연대는 이날 기자회견에서 사회복지 현장의 지속 가능성을 위한 5대 공통 정책을 최우선 과제로 내세웠다. 주요 내용은 △사회복지시설 종사자 처우 개선 △보건복지부 인건비 가이드라인 및 인력 배치 기준 준수 △대전시 5개 자치구 사회복지협의회 활성화를 위한 사업비 지원 △대전광역시사회공헌지원센터 설치 등이다.
연대는 초고령화와 돌봄 공백, 복지 사각지대 고착화 등 지역사회가 직면한 복합적 위기 속에서 사회복지 종사자들이 시민의 삶을 가장 가까운 곳에서 지켜왔음을 강조했다.
