중동 정세 악화로 인한 고유가 파고를 넘기 위해 세종시가 지급하는 ‘고유가 피해지원금’이 행정적 시행착오 없이 시민들의 손에 안착할 수 있을지 관심이 쏠리고 있다.
김하균 세종특별자치시장 권한대행은 14일 시청 집현실에서 열린 간부회의를 주재하며, 지원금 신청 절차나 사용처 제한으로 인한 시민 불편이 발생하지 않도록 전 과정에 걸쳐 빈틈없는 대비를 주문했다.
이번 피해지원금은 중동전쟁 장기화에 따른 서민 경제 부담을 완화하기 위한 조치로, 소득 하위 70% 시민에게 1인당 최소 15만 원에서 최대 60만 원까지 지급된다.
시는 지급 대상과 시기가 복잡한 만큼, 15일부터 이승원 경제부시장을 단장으로 하는 전담조직(TF)을 가동해 본격적인 집행 준비에 들어간다.
김 권한대행은 이날 회의에서 특히 ‘시민의 입장’을 강조했다.
