오는 6월 실시되는 제9회 전국동시지방선거를 앞두고 더불어민주당 세종특별자치시당이 시의원 후보 선출을 위한 경선 결과를 발표하며 본격적인 선거 체제 전환에 돌입했다.
더불어민주당 세종시당은 지난 13일 시당 대회의실에서 경선 투표 결과 발표식을 열고, 치열한 접전을 벌였던 7개 선거구의 최종 후보자를 확정했다.

이번 경선은 당원 투표와 일반 시민 여론조사 등을 합산하는 방식으로 진행됐으며, 세종시당 측은 공천 과정 전반에 걸쳐 공정성과 투명성을 확보하는 데 주력했다고 설명했다.
