타슈켄트 퍼펙트대와 MOA 체결, 교육 시스템 중심 글로벌 캠퍼스 구축

‘CNUT(Chungnam National University in Tashkent)’ 설립을 공식화하며 한국형 교육 모델(K-Edu)의 세계화에 속도를 내고 있다.
충남대는 14일 대학본부 CNU홀에서 우즈베키스탄 타슈켄트 퍼펙트대학교와 ‘CNUT’ 설립을 위한 프랜차이즈 협력 합의각서(MOA)를 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 합의는 단순한 학술 교류를 넘어 충남대의 학사 운영 시스템과 교육 과정을 해외에 직접 이식하는 구체적인 실행 단계를 담고 있다.
이에 앞서 지난 13일에는 타슈켄트 퍼펙트대학교 및 부하라 혁신대학교와 각각 일반협정(MOU)을 맺고 복수학위 프로그램 운영과 공동 연구, 언어·문화 교육센터 설립 등 폭넓은 협력 체계를 구축하기로 뜻을 모았다.
이번 프로젝트의 핵심인 ‘CNUT’는 기존의 대규모 재정 투자 방식에서 벗어나 충남대의 브랜드 가치와 교육 노하우, 디지털 학습 시스템(LMS) 등 무형 자산을 수출하는 ‘프랜차이즈형 모델’로 운영된다. 현지의 민간 자원을 적극 활용해 리스크는 줄이면서도 충남대의 우수한 교육 품질을 현지에 맞게 최적화하는 방식이다.
협정에 따라 각 대학은 2+2 복수학위제를 도입하고, 방학 기간을 활용한 계절 프로그램과 연구자 교류를 활성화할 계획이다. 특히 타슈켄트 퍼펙트대학교와 부하라 혁신대학교가 공학, IT, 경영 등 실용 학문에 강점을 가진 만큼, 충남대의 전문 교육 역량이 결합해 상당한 시너지를 낼 것으로 기대된다.
김정겸 충남대 총장은 “CNUT 설립은 충남대의 교육 혁신 모델을 글로벌 시장으로 확장하는 중대한 이정표가 될 것”이라며 “우즈베키스탄을 거점으로 K-에듀의 우수성을 알리고 미래 글로벌 인재 양성에 앞장서겠다”고 강조했다.
충남대는 앞으로 타슈켄트 CNUT를 글로벌 교육 플랫폼의 전초기지로 삼아, 중앙아시아 전역으로 한국형 교육 수출 모델을 확산시켜 나갈 방침이다.
