파주시산림조합, 조합원 자녀 대학생 20명에 장학금 2천만원 전달

파주시산림조합은 지난 8일 조합 2층 회의실에서 전진옥 조합장을 비롯한 임직원과 조합원 등 40여 명이 참석한 가운데 '2026년 조합원 (손)자녀 장학금 전달식'을 개최했다.

이날 전달식에서 파주시산림조합은 조합원 자녀 대학생 20명에게 장학증서와 함께 1인당 100만 원씩 총 2,000만 원의 장학금을 전달했다.

파주시산림조합의 조합원 자녀 장학금 사업은 2006년부터 매년 꾸준히 이어져 올해로 21년째를 맞았으며 그간 총 469명의 학생에게 2억 7천만 원을 지원하며 조합원 복리 증진과 지역사회 인재 육성에 기여해 왔다.

전진옥 조합장은 "조합원 자녀 장학금 대상자로 선발된 것을 축하드리며, 조합원 자녀 대학생들이 파주의 자랑, 산림조합의 자부심으로 성장하길 기대한다"고 말했으며 이어 "더 많은 조합원들에게 고른 혜택이 돌아갈 수 있도록 올해도 최선을 다하겠다"고 밝혔다.
