적성면 체육회(회장 김용호)가 주최하고 적성면 청년회(회장 장성수)가 주관한 ‘제24회 적성면민 화합 체육대회’가 적성생활체육공원에서 성황리에 마무리됐다.
이번 체육대회에는 적성면 14개 마을 주민 약 600명이 참여해 뜨거운 열기 속에 진행됐다.
참가자들은 남부와 북부로 나뉘어 2개 마을씩 한 팀을 이뤄 총 7개 팀으로 경기에 참여하며 친목과 화합을 다졌다.
행사에서는 윷놀이, 제기차기, 어르신 낚시대회 등 남녀노소가 함께 즐길 수 있는 다양한 단합 경기가 펼쳐졌으며, 주민들은 승패를 떠나 서로를 응원하고 격려하며 뜻깊은 시간을 보냈다.
특히 행사장 곳곳에는 웃음과 환호가 이어지며 활기찬 분위기가 넘쳤고, 세대 간 화합은 물론 이웃 간 정을 다시 확인하는 따뜻한 교류의 장이 됐다는 평가를 받았다.
