안장헌 아산시장 예비후보는 지난 14일 저녁, 온라인 타운홀 미팅을 통해 시민들과 직접 마주하며 아산의 미래 비전을 공유했다.
이번 미팅은 이재명 정부가 강조해온 ‘스트리밍 시대’의 역동적인 행정 패러다임을 지역 정치권에서 선제적으로 구현했다는 평가를 받고 있다.
약 한 시간 동안 유튜브와 인스타그램을 통해 동시 송출된 이번 행사는 화질 저하라는 기술적 변수 속에서도 뜨거운 열기를 뿜어냈다.
유튜브 채널에서만 누적 조회수 약 2,200회, 최고 동시 시청자 336명을 기록했으며, 1,500건 이상의 실시간 채팅이 쏟아지며 시민들의 높은 관심을 입증했다.
‘시민이 묻고 안장헌이 답하다’라는 주제로 열린 이번 미팅은 후보의 인사말을 시작으로 10대 핵심 공약 발표, 끝장 질의응답 순으로 진행됐다.
안 예비후보는 서두에서 오세현 시장에게 최초 토론을 제안한 지 3주일이 지났고 수차례 요구를 이어왔지만 묵묵부답으로 일관하고 있다며 포문을 열었다.
아울러 시장이 대답하지 않는다면 혼자서라도 시민들이 직접 보고 듣고 판단할 기회를 드리는 것이 예의라고 생각했다고 행사 개최 배경을 설명했다.
안 예비후보는 시민들이 일상에서 겪는 갈증을 해소하기 위한 10대 공약을 분야별로 조목조목 짚었다.
특히 도로·교통 혁신, 보육·의료 안전망 확충, 주거·문화 생활권 보장, AI 중심의 행정 혁신 등 그동안 단편적으로 발표했던 정책들을 시청자의 눈높이에 맞춰 일목요연하게 정리해 호응을 이끌어냈다.
이어진 질의응답에서는 SNS를 통해 접수된 16개의 사전 질문뿐만 아니라, 채팅창에 올라온 시민들의 날카로운 현장 질문들이 30여 분간 쉼 없이 이어졌다.
안 예비후보는 시종일관 당당하고 구체적인 답변으로 시민들의 궁금증을 풀어냈다.
