‘충주의 날’은 충주지명탄생을 시민과 함께 축하하는 날로써 다양한 체험콘텐츠와 기념식 그리고 축하공연이 마련된 행사다.
오후 2시부터 6시까지 진행하는 시민참여행사에는 ‘충주의 날 기념 어린이그리기 대회’ 우수작 전시를 비롯해 공익정보 제공과 체험존, 청년 및 시니어클럽 마켓, 지역 농축산품 시식행사 등에 참여할 수 있다.
기념식은 오후 5시 40분부터 시작된다.
