【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=옥천군이 맞벌이 가정의 양육 부담을 덜고 돌봄 사각지대 해소를 위해 운영 중인 ‘평일 야간(24시)·휴일 거점형 돌봄 서비스’가 실질적인 돌봄 안전망으로 자리 잡고 있다.
군은 충청북도교육청과 협력해 향수어린이집을 거점기관으로 지정하고, 기존 보육 시간대의 공백이었던 평일 야간과 주말·공휴일 돌봄 체계를 본격 운영하고 있다고 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 퇴근이 늦거나 휴일 근무가 잦은 맞벌이 가정은 물론, 갑작스러운 비상 상황으로 돌봄이 필요한 가정의 공백을 해소하기 위해 추진됐다.
운영시간은 평일 오후 5시부터 밤 12시까지이며, 토·일·공휴일은 오전 9시부터 오후 6시까지 운영된다. 이용 대상은 생후 6개월 이상부터 취학 전 영유아로, 어린이집이나 유치원 재원 여부와 관계없이 가정양육 영유아까지 포함해 폭넓게 이용할 수 있다.
