벤처기업집적시설은 '벤처기업육성에 관한 특별조치법'에 따라 벤처기업의 창업과 성장을 지원하기 위한 인프라를 갖춘 공간이다. 포항TP는 지난해 첨단해양 R&D센터를 해당 시설로 추가 지정하며 지원 거점 기능을 확대했고, 지역 벤처 생태계 조성을 위한 기반도 한층 강화했다.
이번 사업은 경상북도와 포항시의 지원으로 추진되며, 포항TP 벤처기업집적시설인 본부동과 제1·4·5벤처동, 첨단해양 R&D센터 입주기업을 대상으로 진행된다. 총 8개 기업을 선정해 기업당 최대 1,000만원 규모의 맞춤형 지원을 제공한다.
지원 분야는 △기술지원(시제품 제작, 시험분석, 지식재산권 확보 등) △경영·판로·마케팅 지원(제품·시각디자인, 마케팅, 컨설팅 등)으로 구성돼 기업 수요에 맞춘 실질적 지원이 이뤄질 예정이다.
송경창 포항TP 원장은 “지역 경기 침체 속에서도 입주기업들이 안정적으로 기술개발과 사업화를 이어갈 수 있도록 이번 사업이 실질적인 성장 발판이 되길 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 기업 성장 단계별 맞춤형 지원과 현장 중심 서비스를 지속 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

Pohang Technopark (President Song Kyung-chang, hereinafter Pohang TP) announced that it is accepting applications until the 30th for the "2026 Capacity Building Program for Tenants in Venture Enterprise Clusters" to enhance the competitiveness of tenant companies within its Venture Enterprise Clusters.
Venture Enterprise Clusters are spaces equipped with infrastructure to support the establishment and growth of venture companies in accordance with the "Special Measures Act on the Promotion of Venture Businesses." Last year, Pohang TP expanded its support hub functions by additionally designating the Advanced Marine R&D Center as a designated facility, further strengthening the foundation for creating a regional venture ecosystem.
This program is being implemented with support from Gyeongsangbuk-do and Pohang City and targets tenant companies within Pohang TP's Venture Enterprise Clusters, including the Headquarters Building, Venture Buildings 1, 4, and 5, and the Advanced Marine R&D Center. A total of eight companies will be selected to receive customized support of up to 10 million KRW per company. The support areas consist of technical support (prototype production, testing and analysis, securing intellectual property rights, etc.) and management, sales channel, and marketing support (product and visual design, marketing, consulting, etc.), ensuring practical support tailored to the needs of companies.
Song Kyung-chang, Director of Pohang TP, said, “I hope this project will serve as a practical stepping stone for growth, enabling resident companies to stably continue technology development and commercialization even amidst the regional economic downturn,” adding, “We will continue to expand customized support for each stage of corporate growth and field-oriented services.”
