【브레이크뉴스 청도】이성현 기자=청도군은 16일 경상북도가 주관한 ‘2026년도 규제개혁 추진실적 시군평가’에서 우수상을 수상하며 6년 연속 규제개혁 우수기관에 선정됐다고 밝혔다. 이에 따라 규제개혁 선도 지방자치단체로서의 위상을 다시 한번 입증했다.

이번 평가는 경북도 내 22개 시·군을 대상으로 정부합동평가 지표와 도 자체평가 지표를 바탕으로 지난 1년간의 규제개혁 추진 실적과 현장 체감형 개선 노력 전반을 종합 평가해 이뤄졌다.
청도군은 군민 생활 불편사항과 기업 애로 규제를 발굴하기 위해 찾아가는 규제신고센터를 운영하고, 규제개선 아이디어 공모전을 통해 총 55건의 개선 과제를 발굴했다. 또 자체 점검회의를 비롯해 민생 관련 허가·지원 기준과 그림자 규제 정비 등 다양한 시책을 추진해 왔다.
특히 2025년 추진한 ‘청도만(萬)원주택사업’ 과정에서 선제적인 자치법규 정비와 빈집 재생 정책을 통해 인구 유입과 지역경제 활성화에 기여한 사례가 높은 평가를 받은 것으로 전해졌다.
이와 함께 청도군 자체 공모전을 통해 직원들의 다양한 아이디어를 정책에 반영했으며, 경상북도 규제개선 아이디어 공모전에서도 ‘농업인 불편 해소를 위한 농지 관련 3대 시스템 연계 규제개선’ 과제로 장려상을 수상하는 등 지속적인 제도 개선 노력을 이어왔다.
김동기 청도군수 권한대행은 “이번 수상은 현장의 목소리에 귀 기울이며 불합리한 규제를 개선하기 위해 노력한 결과”라며 “앞으로도 기업과 소상공인, 군민이 일상에서 체감할 수 있는 규제혁신과 적극행정을 지속적으로 추진해 지역경제 활성화와 주민 삶의 질 향상에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

Cheongdo County operated a mobile regulatory reporting center to identify inconveniences in residents' daily lives and regulatory difficulties for businesses, and identified a total of 55 improvement tasks through a regulatory improvement idea contest. Furthermore, the county has implemented various policies, including internal review meetings, the streamlining of permit and support standards related to public livelihoods, and the elimination of "shadow regulations."
It is reported that the county received high praise for its contribution to population influx and regional economic revitalization through the proactive overhaul of local ordinances and vacant house regeneration policies during the ‘Cheongdo Manwon Housing Project’ implemented in 2025.

Kim Dong-gi, Acting Governor of Cheongdo County, stated, “This award is the result of our efforts to improve unreasonable regulations while listening to voices from the field.” He added, “We will continue to pursue regulatory innovation and proactive administration that businesses, small merchants, and residents can experience in their daily lives, doing our utmost to revitalize the local economy and improve the quality of life for residents.”
